PRESIDENT
Dave Merkley, BS
David learned to love languages at a young age. After high school, he lived in Brazil for two years as a missionary and taught English classes on occasion. Then he attended University in Colorado, USA, where he got a degree in business. He then spent the next 20 years in corporate management and entrepreneurship before getting involved in English language schools. He has a passion for helping others, and for languages.
GENERAL MANAGER
Vinícius Nogueira
Vini learned English while in Brazil, which led him to teaching beginning and intermediate students for two years. He also has experience in logistics and problem solving from work in the United States, which has helped both his language and his qualifications as Internexus/Antares’ general manager.
Center Director
Luane Vasques
In 1997, Luane embarked on a journey to the USA through a scholarship provided by Curso Brasas, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Following the completion of her Spanish course and attainment of proficiency, she developed a passion for foreign languages, leading her to pursue English studies. Enrolled in the English studies degree program at Globalcom Interprice and Antares, Luane excelled in her studies. Subsequently, she joined Antares as part of Student Services, where she demonstrated remarkable success in her role.
Drawing upon her extensive professional background and achievements as the Vice President of Vida Máxima Group, Luane ascended to the position of Center Director at the Winter Park Unit.
Office Manager
Giovanna Panza
Born in Brazil, in the city of São Paulo, into a traditional Italian family with the surname Panza, she is familiar with the countries of Italy, Spain, Argentina, Chile and the United States and has enjoyed getting to know different cultures and languages.
With a degree in Marketing, she has had the opportunity to gain qualifications in every country she has worked in, combining customer service, management and administration skills with team leadership.
Since 2021, she has worked as senior marketing manager for the Vida Maxima group, developing projects, brand control, media and visual identity.
As a result of her successful results, she holds the position of office manager at the Antares Winter Park unit.
